About the opportunity:
The New Home Service and Warranty Manager is part of the Weeks Homes Home Care team and reports to the State Building Manager. The key focus of this role is to manage the workflow for service and maintenance works within the warranty period, ensuring all post-handover activities are managed in line with the agreed contract specifications. More specifically, you will:
- Manage the maintenance workflows, ensuring inspections, repairs and sign-offs are completed within required timeframes.
- Monitor maintenance job performance, budgets and outcomes to support efficient delivery and cost control.
- Prepare monthly reports on upcoming inspections, active maintenance and warranty jobs, forecast completions, and overall maintenance trends.
- Track and report supplier and trade partner performance, identifying recurring issues and opportunities for improvement.
- Manage maintenance requirements for display homes and office facilities, ensuring presentation and quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Coordinate emergency maintenance coverage during business closure periods, ensuring appropriate support contacts are available when required.
About you:
You will share a passion for our purpose and be aligned to our core values; better together, be accountable, people matter and think bigger. In addition, you will have:
- Experience in a Residential Construction and/or Maintenance Supervisor role.
- Proven leadership experience, guiding teams within residential construction
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
- he ability to effectively manage competing tasks and achieve outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
- A sound understanding of residential building contracts and warranty obligations.
- Knowledge of the Domestic Building Contracts Act and implied warranty requirements.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills, with a proactive and solution-focused approach.
- Full driver’s license to travel to job sites as required
