ETL Developer / Big Data Analyst – FinTech Startup

Full‑time

English speaking required. Include English resume and salary range in pesos.

Mid‑Level to Senior Level experience (4–10+ years) with ETL Development or Big Data Analytics.

Proficiency with AWS Redshift, Stitch, Segment (or similar) and data warehouse solutions.

Must be able to work full‑time in Medellín, Colombia.

Client

The FinTech client is a UK‑based digital banking start‑up building innovative credit solutions for small businesses in Brazil.

They streamline credit access using non‑traditional data and machine learning to enhance underwriting beyond credit bureau data.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain ETL pipelines using AWS Redshift, Stitch and Segment.
  • Leverage pre‑built integrations (e.g., Stitch Singer) and develop custom solutions as needed.
  • Collaborate with a distributed engineering team to deliver data solutions.
  • Propose and implement improvements to data architecture and processes.
  • Engage with customers to understand their needs and build solutions that address their problems.
  • Own career growth and development within the role.

Qualifications

  • 4–10+ years of experience in ETL Development or Big Data Analysis.
  • Expertise in data warehouses, AWS Redshift, Stitch, Segment (or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Interview Process

  1. Screen by Chief Recruiting Officer.
  2. Code test.
  3. Interview with Founder/CTO.
  4. Decision.
