About the Role
We are looking for a curious, empathetic Content Writing Intern who can bring real stories to life - stories of the students, beneficiaries, and communities we work with every day. This role is ideal for someone who loves research, storytelling, and the written word, and wants hands-on experience creating content that drives real-world impact in the nonprofit space. You'll get a front-row seat to the human stories behind scholarships, STEM education, and grassroots change, and the chance to tell them in a way that moves donors, stakeholders, and the world to care.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact virtually with beneficiaries to understand and document their stories
- Write well-researched, engaging human-interest stories rooted in real experiences
- Create compelling impact stories for donors and stakeholders
- Contribute ideas for new content formats, writing prompts, and storytelling improvements
- Publish at least 15 high-quality stories every month
- Coordinate with internal teams to gather information and verify facts
- Ensure all content is accurate, empathetic, and aligned with the organization's voice
What We're Looking For
- All college students, preferably with a background in Journalism, Mass Communication, English Literature, Communication, or related fields
- Strong command of written English
- Knowledge of Tamil, Hindi is an added advantage
- Passion for research, storytelling, and writing
- Curious, creative, and willing to learn
- Need to have your own laptop and be able to work weekends / evenings as needed
- Attention to detail and strong communication skills
