Warehouse Technician

Job Description – Warehouse Technician (DET00573)

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be part of the Warehouse Department. You will assist with general warehouse duties including picking orders, inventory maintenance and keeping the warehouse stocked and organized. You will also ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Responsibilities

• Shipping, receiving and distribution of materials for both direct and inventory purchases
• Receiving, accepting and unpacking incoming materials and supplies, issuing materials, supplies and parts as requested
• Complete Cycle Counts of stock items throughout the year
• Entering and managing purchase order data in the ERP system with attention to detail
• Performing research on items in the ERP system and assisting in physical counts and audits
• Performing general organization and cleanup of the warehouse, yard and other storage locations
• Operating forklifts, material handling equipment and delivery vehicle
• Fuel offloading duties

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two years’ experience in warehouse management in an industrial setting
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiar with inventory management software applications
• Valid Driver’s License

Work Schedule

Schedule: 7/7 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine; accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.

Compensation Statement

In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
