Roles and Responsibilities
WMS : Ensure warehouse management system compliance with efficiency. Ensure bin accuracy as per the declared standards. Ensure Inventory Record Accuracy (pilferage, loading & trip closing shortages etc.) as per standards. Handle Productivity (a. manpower / case for putaway, b. manpower / handling unit for picking / c. segregation / d. loading); (e. Electricity units per pallet = freezer, f. chiller, g. common); h. Average Loading Time / Truck Ensure the scrap realization Vs targets. Governance (GRNs, Freight SRNs, DMS Upload, PMS for MHEs, Scrap Disposal as per SOP, Cycle Counting as per SOP, definite reporting of safety incidents.) Budgets : 3PL rental target Vs actuals and maintaining within the budget. MIS reports relevant to the function Daily reports, weekly report and monthly reports. OTIF: Ensure on time service and in full quantity to the customer as per the time lines for local routes and outstation routes with all compliances. Ensure the temperature compliance of the vehicle, truck volume utilization, productivity measures. Logistics Budget: Handle G&A (specific to Logistics, including inter-warehouse freight) and Logistics vs budget in and in % gross sales Ensure no shortages or damages in transit. Deal with the transporters and Governance measures including Dos & Don’t, ensure SOP Compliance, Internal Audit Scores, Truck compliance - RC, Insurance , Permit , Pilot Licence + EHS Statutory Compliance MIS : Will be responsible for MIS of the department. Deal with Pilots and will be responsible to monitor pilot ratings and performance. Will have take initiatives on new projects on transportation and will have to focus on continuous improvement. Any Graduate / ITI / Diploma with 1 3 years of handling Warehousing of supply chain
