For one of our market leading clients in Velp and Arnhem, I'm recruiting for Team Lead Logistics.

Role Overview

As Team Lead Logistics, you are the driving force behind the smooth delivery of supplies and payment terminals, while overseeing the critical returns process for field service teams and partners. You operate at a tactical level, managing operational activities and personnel while collaborating with management to shape annual plans and budgets. Your primary mission is to build an efficient team structure, streamline processes, and maintain the high-quality logistical standards required for a global payment technology leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • People Leadership: Manage, coach, and motivate a team of 10 logistics professionals. Conduct development conversations, manage staffing levels, and handle absence cases with a focus on team growth and engagement.
  • Operational Excellence: Coordinate daily workflows, identify process bottlenecks, and implement structural improvements to increase team efficiency.
  • Inventory & Planning: Oversee inventory management, ensuring accurate material planning and stock levels in collaboration with the Logistics Coordinator.
  • Tactical Management: Define annual plans and budgets with the Manager Logistics & Repair. Manage performance based on KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • International Collaboration: Act as the primary contact for international logistics partners, ensuring seamless coordination within the global supply chain.

Your Profile

  • Leadership Style: A proactive, people-oriented coach who is comfortable navigating difficult situations with respect and resilience.
  • Logistics Expertise: Several years of relevant experience in a logistics environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) and ERP systems (SAP is highly preferred).
  • Analytical Ability: Quality-driven with a strong analytical approach to process optimization and KPI management.
  • Communication: Strong command of Dutch and English. Proficiency in German is a significant advantage.
  • Mindset: Collegial, solution-oriented, and ambitious, with a genuine passion for logistics and innovation in payment technology.

Work Details

  • Scope: 40 hours per week (flexible hours).
  • Location: Velp and Arnhem.
