As a Strategy Analyst, you connect rigorous analysis with strategic decision-making and support the organization in making choices that drive TNO forward.

What will be your role?

You will work at the heart of TNO's strategic decision-making as part of the Corporate Strategy Office, reporting to the Director of Strategy. You will connect insightful analyses with strategic decision-making, help navigate an environment of evolving societal, technological, and organizational developments, and support the development, execution, and monitoring of TNO's organization-wide strategy. You will break down complex strategic challenges, develop fact-based insights through analysis, and translate these into clear and actionable recommendations for senior management and executive leadership.

You will conduct strategic analyses often in collaboration with colleagues from different disciplines on topics such as portfolio development, investment decisions, strategic partnerships, and organizational development. You will monitor relevant societal, technological, economic, and policy developments, translating these into strategic opportunities, risks, and recommendations for TNO. Working with stakeholders across the organization, you will gain broad exposure to TNO's strategic priorities and contribute to decisions shaping its future.

What we expect from you

We are looking for a Strategy Analyst with several years of experience in strategy, management consulting, or a comparable analytical environment. You should be energized by solving complex strategic challenges and enjoy helping others make well-informed decisions. You combine strong analytical capabilities with organizational awareness, know how to structure complex issues, engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders, and translate analyses into compelling insights and strategic recommendations.

You should also have:

  • A completed Master\'s degree from a research university.
  • Approximately 2โ€“5 years of relevant work experience in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, or a comparable analytical role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.

Selection process

Please apply before August 9, 2026. The selection process comprises two interview rounds. A final meeting will discuss terms of employment and your tailored benefits package.

We aim to finalize the process within four weeks. The process may include an online assessment and a reference check. A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) is required before starting at TNO.
