Project Engineer (Electrical)

Support the delivery of the Andover Lithium Project through the Definitive Feasibility Study (DFS) phase and future development activities. Based in our West Perth office, this role will provide electrical engineering support across feasibility studies, design development, infrastructure planning and project delivery activities.

Working closely with the Engineering Manager, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders, you will coordinate technical inputs, manage engineering deliverables and support the delivery of electrical infrastructure solutions that meet project scope, budget, schedule and safety requirements.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide electrical engineering support across DFS, design and project development activities
• Manage consultants, contractors and technical service providers to deliver engineering outcomes
• Develop scopes of work, support tender processes and evaluate technical submissions
• Review engineering deliverables to ensure alignment with project requirements, schedule and budget
• Support electrical infrastructure development, design reviews and technical studies
• Provide technical input into project decisions, risks and opportunities
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards, regulations and safety requirements
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, consultants and key stakeholders to achieve project milestones

Minimum Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification
• Approximately 10 years’ relevant engineering experience across design, implementation and feasibility studies (PFS/DFS)
• Experience managing Independent Power Producer (IPP) scopes for Australian mining projects
• Demonstrated experience with hybrid power solutions, including gas, solar and BESS
• Experience in design engineering and commissioning activities
• Experience engaging with government and energy authorities
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
