Senior Safety Officer

Job DescriptionProSource is seeking a Health & Safety Advisor on behalf of a leading M&E contractor with a strong pipeline of projects across Dublin. What's on offer Salary €65-75k p.a. Location: Dublin Region, Ireland Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am 4:00pm Performance Bonus: Annual bonus of 510% based on performance Pension: Employer pension contribution Education Support: Funding for further education and professional development.

KeyResponsibilities Evaluate and approve subcontractor EHS documentation, including training certifications, RAMS, and related compliance documentation. Prepare and issue Risk Assessments, Method Statements (RAMS), and Site-Specific Safety Statements in collaboration with Site Foremen and Contracts Managers. Review subcontractors' Safety Statements and monitor ongoing safety compliance.

Attend site Health & Safety meetings and daily EHS briefings to promote a strong safety culture. Conduct regular Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) inspections across project sites. Deliver EHS inductions and training to employees.

Investigate, record, and report accidents and near misses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented promptly. Requirements Previous experience working on construction projects is essential. Level 7 qualification (or higher) in Environmental, Health & Safety or a related discipline.
