Job DescriptionFresh Start is the longest existing Private Provider of Residential Social Care in Ireland with numerous centres in the Leinster and Munster regions. We have a proven track record in delivering positive outcomes for the children and young people we look after. Each centre provides therapeutic care programmes for children and young people who present with a variety of needs.
The needs and views of the young people we look after are central to the work we undertake. Fresh Start are recruiting Full-Time Social Support Workers in our Centre in Monkstown, Co. Cork Essential Qualification: Candidates must have a QQI Level 5 or Level 6 qualification in the any of the following: - Social Care - Social Studies/Social Science - Health and Social Care - Psychology - Counselling - Addiction/Substance Misuse - Youth & Community Work - Family Support - Disability Studies - Early Childhood Studies (as appropriate) - Pre- Nursing - Custodial Care - Special Needs Assisting - Healthcare Minimum of 1 year's experience of working in a residential setting or setting relevant to the above qualification is essential.
Full drivers license is highly desirable. Position includes evenings, weekends and sleepover hours. Salary is approximately โฌ42,000 per annum (inclusive of Sleepover Allowance) plus premium payments for Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays.
