About The Role

We are looking for a Software Engineer for our Connectivity team, reporting to the team lead. As a Software Engineer, you will work on different data storage solutions and be responsible for increasing our support for existing and new data solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Design and write new connectivity components, APIs, and integrations.
• Work in a scrum team with other developers and a team leader.
• Participate in team planning, design, and reflection meetings, continuously improving the team’s capacity, estimation abilities, and product reliability.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience: 3+ years of hands‑on experience in backend development, with a strong grasp of software engineering best practices.
• Technical Expertise: Proficiency in Java. Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD, and Kubernetes and Helm for deployment on AWS, with a strong grasp of software engineering best practices.
• Education: A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Architectural experience: You have made design decisions, defined technical direction, and guided teams through system evolution.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, RESTful APIs, databases, message queues, and multitenancy. Experience building and evolving microservices‑based architectures, ideally deployed in Kubernetes or similar container orchestration platforms.
• A collaborative, communicative approach: You are comfortable influencing across teams, mentoring engineers, and driving alignment. A proactive, ownership‑driven attitude—you seek out opportunities, solve problems before they arise, and take initiative to improve systems and processes.
