Job Description

This position involves working closely with senior engineers, analysts, and business teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable solutions. The role includes building basic data pipelines, preparing datasets for analysis, and generating simple reports or dashboards. As a fresher, you’ll be guided through best practices in data management, quality assurance, and documentation while gradually taking on more complex tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building and maintaining basic ETL pipelines and data workflows.
• Support the creation of dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business teams.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and insights.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data needs.
• Document data processes, maintain data dictionaries, and follow data governance standards.

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of SQL and at least one programming language such as Python.
• Familiarity with spreadsheets and introductory BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker).
• Basic understanding of databases, data structures, and analytical problem‑solving.
• Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn, and ability to work collaboratively.
• Exposure to cloud platforms or data tools (AWS, Azure, GCP, Spark) is a plus but not required.
