Test Analyst

Job Title Test Analyst Location Onsite in Edmonton Seniority Intermediate Estimated Duration 10 months with extension for another 12 months Work Authorization Must be authorized to work in Canada Job Summary We are seeking an Intermediate Test Analyst to support a large-scale Procurement System Modernization initiative. This role is responsible for establishing testing approaches, ensuring test cases align with business requirements, and providing confirmation of test results throughout the project lifecycle. The successful candidate will work closely with business users, technical teams, and third-party vendors to deliver quality outcomes across all testing phases.

Responsibilities Review, evaluate, and provide test input during business requirements and design specification sessions Identify and communicate testing issues; implement process improvements and issue resolutions Identify target test items to be evaluated and support the development and execution of test plans Work with Subject Matter Experts to define appropriate tests and associated test data Gather, manage, and maintain test data throughout the project Facilitate, set up, and execute test cycles; evaluate outcomes and define exit criteria Log results, verify test execution, and track defect metrics, test status, risks, and blockers Prepare UAT dashboards and status reports for project stakeholders and management Collaborate with project team members to analyze and recover from execution errors Support project teams utilizing AI tools and/or automated testing tools Attend project meetings to review testing inputs/outputs and provide timely status updates Support project teams in the analysis and resolution of issues Required Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science, Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or equivalent experience Experience 4+ years coordinating testing activities with business users, business analysts, technical teams, project managers, security teams, and third-party vendors 4+ years executing test data, running tests, verifying results, and logging issues 4+ years identifying testing issues and implementing process improvements 4+ years preparing or supporting the preparation of test plans and test cases 4+ years supporting software QA, UAT coordination, test execution, and defect lifecycle activities in an enterprise application environment 4+ years supporting testing or UAT for SAP, ERP, procurement, finance, supply chain, or other integrated enterprise systems 3+ years tracking test execution progress, defect metrics, risks, and blockers 1+ year leading and executing end-to-end Source-to-Pay testing, including Ariba upstream procurement workflows and S/4HANA downstream financial integration or similar ERP processes Nice to Have 4+ years with smoke, unit, system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing 2+ years supporting testing of system integrations, interfaces, data flows, or end-to-end business processes across multiple systems 2+ years translating business requirements into test scenarios, test cases, expected results, and UAT validation activities 2+ years with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Vendor Invoice Management (VIM), Fieldglass, or similar ERP procurement systems 2+ years with JIRA or Revision Control System (RCS) 2+ years of understanding ERP implementation lifecycle, testing phases, defect lifecycle, and UAT readiness activities Mindtris is committed to fostering workforce diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. #J-18808-Ljbffr
