Location: Greater Vancouver Area, BC (Hybrid, typically 1-2 days onsite per week) Language: Strong written and verbal English communication skills required Duration: 6-Month Contract Background Check Requirement: Criminal record check required About the Opportunity Our client in the retail sector is seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to play a key role in a high-profile technology transformation initiative focused on RFID implementation and retail systems integration. This is an opportunity to join a fast-moving project entering a critical execution phase, where your ability to drive clarity, alignment, and delivery will have a direct impact on business outcomes. Working closely with Product, Engineering, Retail Operations, and external vendor partners, you will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions across a complex ecosystem of retail technologies.

What’s In It for You Join a collaborative and highly engaged technology team delivering enterprise-wide business transformation initiatives Gain exposure to modern retail technology ecosystems, including RFID, POS, inventory management, ERP, and omnichannel platforms Work in an environment that values autonomy, initiative, and practical problem-solving Contribute to a project with significant visibility and impact across business and operational teams Enjoy flexible working hours that support work-life balance and individual schedules Your Responsibilities You’ll lead requirements discovery sessions and translate business needs into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria You’ll document end-to-end workflows, system integrations, data mappings, and process flows across multiple retail platforms In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, engineering teams, QA, and external vendors to drive solution delivery You’ll proactively facilitate workshops, identify dependencies, and drive stakeholder alignment to keep delivery on track You’ll support sprint planning, backlog refinement, testing activities, and solution validation throughout the project lifecycle You’ll create and maintain clear documentation, ensuring requirements remain traceable from discovery through implementation Skills and Qualifications 5+ years of Business Systems Analysis experience within complex, multi-system retail or supply chain environments Strong experience gathering requirements and translating business needs into user stories with clearly defined acceptance criteria Proven expertise in systems integration, data mapping, process modeling, and cross-platform solution design Experience working with retail technology ecosystems including POS, ERP, inventory management, omnichannel, or related platforms Ability to operate independently while managing relationships across business and technical stakeholder groups Strong experience using Jira and Confluence with a disciplined approach to documentation and traceability RFID implementation experience is highly preferred, with additional experience supporting retail technology transformation initiatives considered an asset Equal Employment Opportunity All qualified applicants will receive fair consideration for employment.
