Job Description
Responsibilities Provide administrative, coordination, and technical support to engineering and maintenance teams under the Manager, Maintenance Engineering. Support engineering activities related to fleet reliability, maintenance programs, procurement, and commissioning by organizing documentation, assisting with engineering drawings and models, coordinating information, tracking data, and aiding in reporting and analysis. Assist engineering staff in troubleshooting, testing, and implementation activities across diesel, CNG, and battery electric vehicles and associated equipment by collecting data, documenting, and coordinating field and shop activities.
Support design, analysis, testing, and project activities within the Maintenance Engineering department through documentation, coordination, and data‑management functions. Education Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering technology with Applied Science Technologist (ASCTTBC) designation. Qualifications Diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering technology with Applied Science Technologist (ASCTTBC) designation.
Experience A minimum of three (3) years of previous experience in engineering technology. Experience in an automotive, industrial, or heavy‑duty fleet environment. Mechanical and/or electrical design experience, including Autodesk Certified Professional endorsement (Autodesk Vault, Inventor, AutoCAD Electrical).
Working knowledge and hands‑on experience with Autodesk Vault. Work Schedule 37.5 hours per week. Work Designation Resident – the position works predominantly on‑site.
Rate of Pay Salary $7,556 – $9,062 per month (actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity). The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Dental, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan, tuition reimbursement, training, mentorship programs, and access to gym facilities.
