Job Description

Overview Manager, Fixed Assets is responsible for managing fixed asset activities and ensuring delivery of high quality processing services to all business units and partners. The role focuses on accuracy, efficiency and timeliness, acts as a subject matter expert for Fixed Assets, client and partner care issues, identifies continuous improvement opportunities, and serves as the key liaison and escalation point between business partners and business units for problem resolution, service quality activities, and initiative implementation. What will you do?

Key relationship manager and knowledge resource for the North America and Caribbean platforms/regions on all matters affecting Fixed Assets. Lead and manage a team responsible for the completion of fixed asset transactions and processes. Oversee and ensure timely and accurate reporting to Financial and Regulatory Reporting.

Maintain process and system controls to guarantee accurate records, data integrity and compliance with policies and procedures. Review all transactions, reports and documents to ensure adherence to policies, procedures and guidelines (SOX, G/L attestation, EUC, Enterprise G/L Attestation policy and APG). Provide leadership to the team in taking ownership and accountability for the resolution of complex issues at the first point of contact.

Promote a continuous improvement mindset by proactively identifying, recommending and implementing solutions to recurring errors, service gaps and process efficiency enhancements. Exercise due diligence in following operational risk policies, procedures, standards and guidelines. Requirements Must Have University or college degree in accounting, finance, business preferred; and 5+ years of experience in operations or finance.

Strong knowledge of Fixed Asset processes and IAS 16. Solid knowledge of regulatory and compliance rules including internal audit reviews, SOX, Enterprise GL Attestation policy, GAAP. Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, ability to prioritize activities to meet objectives.

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, with intermediate to advanced skills in Excel. Nice to Have Exposure to Lean Six Sigma (LSS) or process improvement. Knowledge of SAP, Great Plains, and eGL systems.

CPA Accounting designation achieved or underway. Previous managerial experience.
