Position Overview The Estimating Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing centralized estimating services across residential construction projects nationwide, including both single-family and multi-family developments. This position leads a team of estimators while ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and consistent cost estimates. This role requires a hands‑on leader who can balance team management with active involvement in estimating, while driving process improvements, strengthening trade relationships, and supporting strategic business decisions.

Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 4–6 estimators, including senior‑level staff and coordinators Foster a high‑performance, collaborative, and accountable team culture Set clear objectives, manage performance, and support professional growth Provide hands‑on estimating support when required to meet deadlines Encourage knowledge sharing and continuous development within the team Estimating Operations Oversee the delivery of estimating services across all regions and project types Ensure accuracy and consistency in: Base budgets Quantity takeoffs Proformas Custom pricing Act as the primary point of contact for estimating across multiple divisions Support remote teams during peak workloads or resource gaps Process Improvement & Systems Develop and standardize estimating processes, tools, and templates Optimize use of ERP systems and digital takeoff tools (e.G., HomeFront, Newstar, Bluebeam, Revit) Maintain and enhance cost databases, pricing libraries, and vendor information Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities Qualifications & Experience Post‑secondary education in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Architectural Technology, or a related field Minimum 10 years of estimating experience in residential construction Proven experience across both single‑family and multi‑family residential projects At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or management role Experience working with a homebuilder or real‑estate developer is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of: ERP systems (e.G., HomeFront, Newstar) Digital takeoff tools (e.G., Bluebeam, Revit) Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a quick‑paced environment Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
