Business Analyst

Business Analyst - Permanent - Retail Focus Location: Bury - Hybrid/Flexible Working Salary: Consultant up to £55,000 / Senior Consultant up to £70,000 SC Eligibility essential We're looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a growing Digital Transformation practice, supporting some of the UK's leading retail and eCommerce organisations. You'll work closely with clients to deliver large-scale digital transformation programmes, helping shape customer-facing products and services across online, mobile and in-store channels. This is a client-facing consulting role where you'll bridge the gap between business and technology, gathering requirements, facilitating workshops and ensuring successful delivery of digital solutions.

Responsibilities Elicit, analyse and document business, functional and non-functional requirements. Facilitate workshops with business and technical stakeholders. Produce user stories, acceptance criteria and process maps.

Support Discovery, Alpha and Delivery phases of digital transformation programmes. Analyse and improve AS-IS and TO-BE business processes. Work closely with Product Managers, Solution Architects, UX Designers and Engineering teams.

Support Agile ceremonies including backlog refinement, sprint planning and retrospectives. Manage stakeholder expectations across multiple business functions. Assist with UAT planning, execution and defect management.

Ensure solutions align with business objectives and customer outcomes. Experience Required Commercial experience as a Business Analyst within Retail or eCommerce. Experience delivering digital transformation programmes.

Strong requirements gathering and stakeholder management skills. Experience writing User Stories and Acceptance Criteria. Process Mapping (AS-IS / TO-BE).

Agile delivery experience (Scrum/Kanban). Jira and Confluence. Experience working alongside Product, Engineering and Design teams.
