At Via, we’re supporting an established, high-growth B2B SaaS business in their search for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team in Manchester (Hybrid) . This is a rare opportunity to work directly with executive leadership, helping shape commercial and financial decision‑making through high‑quality data analysis. You’ll work across millions of records, building trusted datasets, automating reporting, and uncovering insights that influence company strategy. Location: Manchester (Hybrid) The Opportunity This isn’t a dashboard‑only analytics role. You’ll be responsible for getting deep into the data, investigating commercial performance at record level and connecting information across multiple business systems to create accurate, reliable reporting that senior leaders can trust. The business already has well‑defined commercial metrics and reporting frameworks in place. Your role will be to enhance these, improve data quality, automate manual processes, and carry out exploratory analysis to identify opportunities that haven’t yet been discovered. You’ll collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across the business, translating complex commercial questions into robust analysis that supports strategic decision‑making. What You’ll Be Doing Commercial & Marketing Analytics Analyse marketing and sales funnel performance across CRM, marketing and web analytics platforms Investigate millions of records to identify inconsistencies, duplicate data and quality issues Build automated Python and SQL workflows that clean, validate and transform commercial datasets Develop trusted reporting around lead generation, conversion, pipeline performance and revenue trends Explore new datasets to identify opportunities and answer strategic business questions Analyse ARR, MRR, churn, revenue movements and customer lifecycle metrics Reconcile data across CRM, finance and invoicing systems Produce investor‑grade reporting and executive data packs Connect commercial performance with product usage and customer behaviour to identify growth opportunities Build scalable reporting pipelines using SQL and Python Automate recurring reporting processes and data validation checks Improve data quality and reduce manual reporting across the business Document processes and create reliable analytical workflows Working With Senior Leadership Partner directly with executive stakeholders on commercial priorities Present insights in a clear, commercially focused way Support strategic planning through accurate forecasting and performance analysis Cross-Functional Collaboration Work with Sales, Marketing, Operations, Customer Success and Product teams Investigate operational issues through detailed data analysis Support forecasting, planning and performance improvement initiatives Promote best practice around data quality and reporting What They’re Looking For Previous experience analysing commercial data within a SaaS business Strong understanding of ARR, MRR, churn, pipeline, sales funnels and SaaS metrics Experience reconciling data across multiple systems including CRM and finance platforms Advanced SQL skills with strong Python experience for automation and analysis Ability to work independently while delivering highly accurate analysis Strong communication skills with confidence presenting findings to senior stakeholders Degree in a quantitative subject such as Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering Nice to Have Experience in a private equity‑backed SaaS business Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or Looker Understanding of ETL processes and data modelling Experience working with platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot or finance systems Exposure to forecasting, operational KPIs or capacity planning Why Apply?
