Recruitment Consultant at Insite Recruitment UK & US Indirect Tax Senior Manager An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Indirect Tax Senior Manager to join a leading regional accounting firm with a strong presence across Cheltenham, Bristol, and Cardiff. The role will suit a driven VAT specialist who enjoys a mix of advisory work, client leadership, and team development. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage a portfolio of VAT and other indirect tax advisory projects across a wide range of sectors, including owner-managed businesses, corporate groups, and not-for-profit organisations.

Provide technical guidance on complex VAT matters such as partial exemption, land and property transactions, cross-border trading, and group structuring. Review advisory reports and client communications, ensuring technical accuracy and commercial insight. Build and maintain long-term client relationships, acting as a trusted adviser and point of contact for strategic tax planning.

Support partners with business development opportunities, proposals, and firm-wide initiatives to grow the indirect tax service line. Coach and mentor junior staff, contributing to their technical and professional development. About You: CTA, ACA, or equivalent qualification with significant experience in UK VAT and indirect taxes.

Proven track record in delivering complex advisory work and leading client engagements. Commercially minded, with strong communication and relationship management skills. Motivated by the opportunity to help shape and grow a regional VAT offering within a collaborative, forward-thinking firm.
