Job Description
The Site Manager role in Leicester offers a 4-month contract at £36-£37 per hour, with a minimum of 9 hours paid. This position involves overseeing works within occupied student accommodation, requiring prior experience in live environments. Strong health and safety management is essential, alongside clear communication and coordination skills.
The successful candidate will assume full responsibility for daily site operations, ensuring tasks are delivered safely, on schedule, and to a high standard. Maintaining a clean, controlled, and respectful atmosphere for residents is paramount. Confidence in managing various trades while upholding consistent quality across all activities is necessary.
This full‑time contract demands a professional approach to site management within a sensitive residential setting. Key Responsibilities Managing daily site operations Coordinating deliveries to site Supervising and coordinating multiple trades including sprinkler installers, boxing teams, fire stoppers and cleaners Carrying out quality assurance checks and inspections Maintaining site records, reports and handover paperwork (strong IT skills required) Ensuring strict health & safety compliance in a lived-in environment Enforcing good housekeeping standards at all times Liaising with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders Requirements Valid SMSTS certificate Valid First Aid at Work certificate Valid Asbestos Awareness certificate Proven experience managing projects in occupied or lived-in environments Experience managing multiple trades Strong QA and documentation experience Good IT skills (reports, handover documents, site records) Strong organisational and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
