Position Location: This position will be located at the Princeton, NJ US Headquarters site.
Our Sandoz flexible hybrid working approach allows US office-based employees to work up to 50% of their monthly workday remotely. This role will not have the ability to be located remotely. Preference will be given to local candidates not requiring relocation.

Role Overview Within the North America Strategy & Growth organization, the Manager, Strategy Support provides project management, analytical, governance, and executive support across priority strategy development and deployment activities. Reporting to the Director, Strategy Deployment and partnering closely with the Director, Strategy Development, this role helps coordinate planning processes, track execution against priorities, synthesize insights, and produce leadership-ready materials that enable effective decision-making and disciplined follow-through. This role requires strong organizational discipline, structured problem-solving, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a complex, matrixed environment.
Responsibilities Support Strategy Management Office (SMO) operations, including governance routines, portfolio tracking, risk and dependency monitoring, KPI tracking, and preparation of dashboards and scorecards. Support strategy development activities through market, competitive, policy, and business analysis, synthesis of findings, and preparation of materials that inform roadmap discussions and leadership decisions. Coordinate strategic planning and deployment processes, including tracking priorities, milestones, owners, and cross-functional inputs to support alignment with the NA Strategic Roadmap.
Prepare leadership-ready materials for meetings, working sessions, and steering forums, including presentations, briefings, summaries, action-item tracking, and follow-up documentation. Support cross-functional execution by coordinating stakeholders, monitoring action items, surfacing risks and interdependencies, and helping maintain timely follow-through on strategic initiatives. Provide project management and analytical support for high-priority strategy development and deployment initiatives as directed by leadership.
Key Performance Indicators Quality and timeliness of planning, governance, and leadership support materials. Accuracy and usability of dashboards, trackers, scorecards, and follow-up documentation. Effectiveness of coordination across planning and execution workstreams.
Timely tracking and follow-through of strategic priorities, milestones, and action items. Quality of analytical support provided for strategy development and deployment activities. Key Capabilities Structured Strategic Support: Ability to connect business priorities, relevant insights, and data to support clear implications, informed decision-making, and actionable recommendations.
Analytical Rigor: Strong structured problem-solving capabilities, with experience in analysis, scenario support, and data-informed planning and decision support. Execution and Coordination: Ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, manage priorities, monitor progress, and support governance across strategic initiatives. Executive Communication: Strong ability to translate complex information into clear, concise, and leadership‑ready materials for senior stakeholders.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Proven stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to work effectively across functions in a matrixed environment. Business and Industry Context: Sound understanding of U.S. healthcare, market, policy, and competitive dynamics, with the judgment to apply that context appropriately. What You’ll Bring Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, life sciences, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, MS) preferred. 5+ years of experience in strategy execution, PMO, management consulting, transformation, corporate strategy, or a related field.
Experience supporting cross-functional initiatives, governance routines, and strategic planning or deployment processes. Experience applying structured problem-solving and analytical tools, including dashboards, trackers, scorecards, and KPI reporting, to support planning, governance, and decision-making. Experience preparing presentations, summaries, and other leadership‑ready materials for senior stakeholders.
Experience supporting multiple concurrent initiatives in a complex, matrixed environment with competing priorities and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications Experience in pharmaceuticals, healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries. Familiarity with strategic deployment frameworks (e.g., OKRs, Hoshin Kanri, Balanced Scorecard) or enterprise PMOs.
Experience with competitive landscape analysis, scenario planning, or strategic roadmap development. Exposure to senior leadership planning and performance management processes. Lean / Six Sigma exposure (e.g., Green Belt).
Experience with reporting, planning, and workflow tools such as Power BI, Smartsheet, Visio, Miro, or similar platforms. The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $117,500 - $218,300 USD/year; however, while salary ranges are effective from 1/1/26 through 12/31/26, fluctuations in the job market may necessitate adjustments to pay ranges during this period.
Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including but not limited to geographical location, experience level, knowledge, skills and abilities. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign‑on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401k eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employee will be in an at-will position and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
