Job Role: Automotive Hardware Design Engineer (ECU & PCB Design) Experience: 5–9 Years Location: Bangalore & Pune Key Skills Automotive Hardware Design, ECU Design, PCB Design, FMEA, EMC, CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet, Thermal Management, Automotive Electronics, VW80000 Key Responsibilities Design and develop automotive ECU hardware for body electronics, powertrain, and vehicle control systems. Create and review hardware schematics , PCB layouts, and component selection for automotive applications. Perform Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (DFMEA) and support hardware risk assessment activities.

Develop hardware solutions compliant with automotive reliability, safety, and EMC requirements. Validate and troubleshoot CAN-FD, Automotive Ethernet , and other hardware communication interfaces. Perform EMC/EMI analysis , testing, and issue resolution during product development.

Required Skills & Experience 5+ years of experience in Automotive Hardware Design . Strong experience in ECU Hardware Design and Automotive Electronics. Hands-on experience with PCB Design and schematic development.

Good knowledge of DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) . Experience with CAN-FD , Automotive Ethernet , and embedded communication interfaces. Strong understanding of EMC/EMI principles , testing, and compliance.

Experience in thermal management , heating drivers (PWM), and ECU cooling systems. Knowledge of semiconductor technologies, reliability, and mission profile analysis. Familiarity with automotive design standards including VW80000 or equivalent.

Experience with hardware design tools, simulation software, and laboratory test equipment. Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
