Job Description Job Description Superior Mechanical Services, Inc. provides mechanical and Plumbing services throughout the Maryland, Virginia and DC Metropolitan area. We take pride in every project and strive to communicate and accomplish the goals each client sets out to achieve. These services include new construction, renovation and maintenance of HVAC and Plumbing systems for plan-spec, design-build and design-assist commercial and high-rise residential buildings.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Install, replace, troubleshoot and repair heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial applications adhering to manufacturer, code and safety requirements. 2. Have a working knowledge of gas piping systems and understand requirements of safe operation of gas burning appliances. 3.
Maintain a safe and orderly work area following company handbook and safety requirements. 4. Communicate with office and warehouse staff following instructions and assisting company objectives. 5. Communicate with customers in a professional manner as necessary to determine service needs. 6.
Notify management of any hazardous situations encountered. 7. Review blueprints and building codes and specifications to determine work details and procedures. 8. Keep records of assignments and produce detailed work reports. 9.
Additional duties as assigned. Position Requirements: 1. Knowledge of commercial HVAC systems. 2.
Understand written and verbal instructions given. 3. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. 4. Good attendance, reliability, dependability, and flexibility. 5.
Ability to interact with multiple personality types while ensuring positive outcome. 6. Maintain clean uniform and appearance. Wear company badge on job/property sites. 7.
Use company’s TechAnywhere app to submit time for yourself, and other crew members. 8. Communicate via email. 9. Must be able to follow OSHA safety rules.
Must have OSHA10 training. 10. Flexibility to work overtime, on-call and weekends, as required. 11. Safely operate company vehicles within traffic laws and maintain a neat and orderly condition in vehicle. 12.
