Consultant Required!

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Consultant Geriatrician to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team providing comprehensive care for older adults. Key Responsibilities Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient geriatric medicine services Assess, diagnose, and manage complex medical conditions in older patients Lead Comprehensive Geriatric Assessments and contribute to discharge planning Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including nursing, therapy, social work, and community services Participate in the General Internal Medicine on-call rota, where applicable Support teaching, training, and supervision of junior doctors and medical students Contribute to clinical governance, service development, and quality improvement initiatives Requirement Specialist registration (or eligibility for specialist registration) in Geriatric Medicine Experience managing frail older adults and complex multimorbidities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Commitment to patient-centred care, education, and service improvement What We Offer The current Consultant salary scale ranges fr om €238,221 to €286,151 for a 37-hour w eek, with any additional work paid on top of that. There is also €12,000 in CPD funding, €8,000 in innovation funding, generous annual leave, and a public pension scheme.
