ABOUT THE COMPANY Sagepilot AI builds AI employees that transform customer engagement for high-growth companies. Our platform deploys intelligent AI agents across WhatsApp Business, Instagram DMs, website chat, and AI voice - helping D2C brands and startups automate sales, support, and re-engagement at scale. We're an official Meta Business Partner, and our clients include some of India's fastest-growing D2C names, like, dโyou, Dookan, Kreo, Treebo Hotels and many more. This is an early-stage, high-velocity environment. What you build here ships fast and impacts real revenue. ABOUT THE ROLE This is a dual-track role, not a siloed SDR role, not a back-office ops seat. You'll work across the full revenue engine: identifying and qualifying high-potential prospects, executing sharp outbound across channels, and keeping the operational machinery (CRM, data, sequencing, onboarding coordination) tight and running. The split is roughly 60% sales-facing and 40% ops-facing, but the boundary is fluid by design. The best candidates will be those who are equally comfortable drafting a punchy cold email and auditing a CRM for data hygiene.
RESPONSIBILITIES Research and build targeted prospect lists of D2C brands, e-commerce companies, and high-growth startups Craft sharp, concise messaging that lands Sagepilot's value proposition, no generic templates Hand off discovery-ready conversations to the sales lead Follow up relentlessly and professionally, the difference between a close and a miss is often just one more touch Own CRM hygiene: maintain accurate records of all outreach, pipeline stages, and contact data in real time Build and maintain prospect databases, contact lists, and segmentation logic for outbound campaigns Set up and manage outbound sequences in the CRM Track pipeline metrics, flag bottlenecks, and surface weekly reporting to the team Support client onboarding coordination, ensuring handoffs from sales to ops are clean and documented Maintain internal SOPs and playbooks as processes evolve REQUIRED SKILLS Excellent written and spoken communication, confident, clear, persuasive, and to the point Organised and detail-oriented, you can juggle high-volume outreach without letting quality slip Resilience, you treat rejection as signal, not verdict Comfort with (or eagerness to learn) outreach tools: Apollo, Clay, Lemlist, Instantly, LinkedIn Sales Navigator Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot, Attio, Salesforce) is a strong plus Genuine curiosity about AI, SaaS, and the D2C ecosystem, you can hold a credible conversation with a founder Immediate availability with full-time commitment
