Drive emergency response efforts as an Application and Systems Analyst with the Alberta Emergency Management Agency in Edmonton. This full-time position centers on managing essential technology for public safety. You will play a crucial role within the Provincial Emergency Coordination Centre, responsible for the Alberta Emergency Alert system and the Incident Information Management System.
Your duties include ensuring operational reliability and offering training to stakeholders and users involved in emergency response. Key Responsibilities: • Manage and support public alerting systems • Provide training to users for effective system operation • Collaborate with emergency response agencies and municipalities • Drive continuous improvements in system processes • Conduct data analysis and reporting for situational awareness Requirements: • University degree in a related field, no experience needed • Understanding of emergency management practices like ICS • Experience with incident management software • Proficient in IT support and system troubleshooting • Knowledge of cybersecurity and FOIP practices Contribute to Alberta's public safety mission with your analytical and technical skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
