Job Description

Job Purpose : Lead and deliver assigned finance transformation initiatives aligned to business requirements, collaborating closely with Technology, DATA,OPS, TMO, and Business stakeholders, while actively supporting bank-wide strategic projects and internal initiatives with regular updates to senior management. Drive the adoption of emerging technologies, AI-enabled tools, and automation to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy, and decision-making. Manage the end-to-end project and UAT lifecycle , including planning, test design, execution, defect management, and stakeholder sign-off, ensuring seamless delivery.

Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial and management reporting data through robust reconciliation and validation frameworks across finance systems. Additionally, design and develop reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions to enable data-driven insights, while supporting Finance teams during month-end processes , tracking issues, and coordinating with relevant teams for timely resolution. Key Result Areas : Responsible for managing specific changes to Finance Information Systems and OFSAA driven by various Banking systems implementations/upgrades, ensuring accurate data availability for timely reporting of various Finance streams.

Act as the techno-functional lead and central liaison across Finance, IT, Data, TMO ,Project teams and vendor partners for assigned initiatives. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data, reporting, and mapping requirements , ensuring optimal system design and business alignment. Oversee end-to-end data integration across Flexcube, Data Lake, and OFSAA, ensuring accurate mapping, transformation and reconciliation.

Establish and maintain robust data quality, reconciliation, and validation frameworks , proactively identifying and resolving issues. Lead end-to-end project delivery , including requirements documentation (BRDs/FSDs), test design, execution (SIT/UAT), defect management, triage, and stakeholder sign-off. Ensure compliance with IFRS, regulatory requirements, and internal governance , coordinating with auditors and stakeholders as needed.

Drive adoption of automation and AI-enabled solutions to enhance reporting efficiency, accuracy, and advanced analytics capabilities. Develop and manage reports, dashboards, and analytical solutions to support data-driven decision-making. Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends and generate actionable business insights.

Strengthen internal controls to ensure data accuracy, integrity, and reliability across finance systems. Manage multiple projects and priorities , ensuring timely delivery within defined quality and timelines. Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, risks, and key milestones.

Support month-end reporting processes (UAE & Overseas) , tracking issues and driving timely resolution with relevant teams. Drive process improvements and system enhancements across OFSAA, FCUBS, ERP, and finance platforms. Promote data governance and standardization across finance systems and reporting processes.

Conduct user training and enablement to ensure smooth adoption of system changes and reporting enhancements. Manage and monitor service tickets and issue resolution , ensuring timely closure and minimal business disruption. Operating Environment, Framework and Boundaries, Working Relationships : Operates in a dynamic, highly regulated banking environment, working closely with Financial, Management, and Regulatory Reporting, Core Banking (including FCUBS and other banking systems), Technology, OPS, Business Finance, TMO, Overseas Finance teams, auditors, and external vendors to ensure alignment across finance systems and reporting requirements.

Leads and delivers assigned projects, URFs, and service tickets in support of Financial and Management Reporting, ensuring timely month-end deliverables. Aligns and adapts OFSAA modules with Oracle Flexcube and other banking system implementations, ensuring compliance with IFRS, local regulations, and internal policies , while effectively managing complexities related to data integration, evolving reporting requirements, and project timelines . Collaborates with Finance, IT, Data, Risk, Compliance, and OPS teams to implement, validate, and test system changes, and engages with vendors and auditors to ensure smooth delivery and compliance.

Provides regular updates to senior management and ensures strong coordination with implementation teams to align OFSAA & Finance Information system and platform changes with core banking requirements. Problem Solving : Responsible for addressing technical and operational challenges in integrating various banking systems with OFSAA and Finance Information systems , including resolving data mapping issues, ensuring reporting accuracy, and troubleshooting configurations. Drive continuous improvements to optimize data flows and reporting functionality while ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory standards .

Act as a key contact for Financial, Management, and Overseas Finance teams , handling queries and providing effective solutions. Collaborate with Technology teams to guide solution design and support ad-hoc stakeholder and management queries , ensuring smooth operations and timely decision-making. Decision Making Authority & Responsibility : Responsible for driving configuration updates, data integration strategies, and testing plans for OFSAA and Finance Information systems, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency aligned with Oracle Flexcube and other banking system implementations.

While strategic direction is aligned with senior management and the Project Steering Committee, exercise autonomy in prioritizing deliverables, resolving implementation challenges, and ensuring timely, accurate delivery of reporting enhancements. Own day-to-day decision-making across UAT, projects, URFs, and service tickets , working closely with Finance Information and Project teams to ensure effective issue resolution and seamless execution. Knowledge, Skills and Experience : Education & Certifications Master’s degree in finance, Accounting, Data Analytics, Information systems, Computer applications or related fields.

Certification in Oracle OFSAA or related financial reporting systems (preferred). Experience Minimum of 12 years of experience in finance or financial systems roles, with at least 5 years in system implementation or change management. Hands-on experience with Oracle OFSAA, including FTP, ALM, PFT configuration, integration, and module testing.

Proven expertise in managing data integration with data lakes and implementing financial reporting systems in a banking environment. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of Oracle OFSAA and its integration with Oracle Flexcube. Expertise in financial, regulatory, management, and business finance reporting processes.

Familiarity with data lake architecture and data pipelines for reporting purposes. Proficiency in system testing methodologies, reporting automation, and analytics tools. Behavioral Skills Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. Effective communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
