Senior Software Developer Location: Mississauga, Canada Work Model: Hybrid What You’ll Do Develop cutting‑edge solutions to tackle industry problems using C# and .NET Mentor and provide guidance to team members Write well‑designed, scalable, reliable, testable and reusable code following best practices, clean code, and solid principles Contribute to the full development life cycle: analysis, design, implementation, testing Design, develop, and maintain database support tools and applications Detect, report, investigate, and fix product defects Automate testing, including unit and integration tests Optimize code and apply best practices Maintain high standards of quality for code, technical documentation, and deliverables Collaborate with cross‑functional teams through code reviews and design discussions Participate in community activities such as meetups and conferences Be active in brainstorming and idea generation activities Stay up‑to‑date with advanced technologies to provide best solutions for new projects Experience You’ll Bring Minimum of 5+ years of related industry experience working in software development environments Strong background and experience with C# and .NET (Java is a plus) Solid problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills Good communication skills Experience with SQL databases, T‑SQL, stored procedures, triggers Nice‑to‑have front‑end experience: JavaScript, AngularJS, CSS Experience with TDD and BDD Bonus: DevOps/Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, Infrastructure as Code/Service concepts Nice‑to‑have exposure to JSON, XML, AngularJS Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related area of study SOTI is an equal opportunity workplace and celebrates the uniqueness of global teams.
