Design Manufacturing Engineer (Local Candidate)

Designation: Manufacturing Design Engineer Location: Sanand, Ahmedabad Experience Range: 4 years+ Budget : up to 7 LPA Key Responsibilities • Develop and modify engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for manufacturing projects. • Collaborate with Production, Quality, Sourcing, NPD, and Maintenance teams to ensure efficient product realization. • Review and optimize designs for manufacturability (DFM) and ease of assembly (DFA). • Prepare and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering documentation, and technical records. • Support process improvements to enhance productivity, quality, and cost reduction. • Resolve manufacturing and design-related issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions. • Coordinate prototype development, testing, and implementation of design changes. • Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications. • Participate in Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives. • Provide technical support to production teams and assist with customer or site-related engineering requirements when necessary. Qualification • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Production Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) • 5–8 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, or industrial equipment design industries.
