About Us : Warra is an Indian ethnic women's wear brand combining modern silhouettes with traditional craftsmanship. We're a small, fast-moving manufacturing unit looking for someone who wants to grow with us. The Role This is a high-visibility role with direct exposure to every part of the business, from design execution to customer delivery.
We're looking for a hands-on Production Manager/Merchandiser to be the backbone of our production floor. This person ensures every piece leaves our unit on time, with the right fit, and at the right quality. What You'll Do Order Management & Fulfillment * Manage end-to-end production for all customer orders. * Track each order from cutting to stitching to embroidery to final quality check and dispatch * Conduct quality checks at key stages to catch issues before they reach the customer Team Coordination * Be the daily point of coordination between masterji, tailors, embroiderers, and karigars * Clearly communicate work priorities and timelines to each team member * Follow up to ensure everyone knows what they're working on and by when * Flag and resolve bottlenecks before they delay an order Material & Inventory Management * Plan and organize all raw material needs โ fabric, thread, zips, embroidery material, trims, etc. * Ensure materials are available in advance so production never stalls * Track material usage and maintain basic stock records Store & Stockist Coordination * Liaise with stockist stores on inventory levels and replenishment needs * Process and fulfill bulk/store orders alongside individual customer orders * Maintain visibility on what's needed where, and when What We're Looking For * 1โ2 years of experience in production, merchandising, or operations (apparel/fashion/textile background preferred but not mandatory) * Strong organizational skills โ comfortable juggling multiple orders, people, and deadlines at once * Clear communicator who can coordinate confidently with both skilled karigars and customers * Detail-oriented, especially around measurements and quality * Proactive problem-solver who takes ownership rather than waiting to be told * Eager to learn, grow, and work in a hands-on, fast-paced small-team environment * Basic computer literacy (WhatsApp Business, spreadsheets, etc.)The ideal candidate will own the entire production process.
They will strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence. The will also run quality assessment to ensure customer satisfaction.
