Position: Software Engineer, Clinical Data (TypeScript, FHIR/HL7) Type: Contract Compensation: $75–$87/hour Location: Remote Role Responsibilities Build robust TypeScript/Node.js services for EHR integrations.

Architect integration services using HL7 v2 , FHIR , and EHR APIs . Deploy microservices on AWS with containerization; implement data validation, monitoring, and HIPAA-compliant security. Contribute to code reviews and system-design discussions.

Use AI-assisted coding tools to accelerate development and collaborate with product managers on clinical workflow solutions. Qualifications Must-Have 3+ years building production systems with Node.js and TypeScript . Experience at a healthcare startup or health-data integration platform, with knowledge of FHIR , HL7 , patient identity management, or clinical data modeling.

Strong computer science fundamentals: algorithms, data structures, OOP, concurrency, and distributed systems. RESTful or event-driven API design and implementation experience. Microservices or cloud-native application scaling experience ( AWS , Kubernetes ).

Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident located in the United States; this role is on-site in Seattle, WA or Madison, WI. Preferred Experience implementing OAuth2.0 / SMART on FHIR authentication flows.
