Role Description The Assistant Restaurant Manager/Restaurant Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, responsible for overseeing daily restaurant operations and ensuring an excellent guest experience. This role includes supervising front-of-house and bar teams, managing reservations and table allocations, and maintaining high service standards during all shifts.
The manager will handle staff scheduling, participate in hiring and training, monitor food and beverage quality, and ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations. Additional responsibilities include addressing guest feedback, supporting customer satisfaction initiatives, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, managing basic inventory and cost controls, and assisting with promotional activities to drive revenue. Qualifications Strong focus on Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction, with the ability to handle guest feedback professionally and maintain long-term patron relationships.
Demonstrated experience in Hiring and team supervision, including training, performance guidance, and building a collaborative work environment. Excellent Communication skills for interacting with guests, team members, and management, and for clear documentation of operational processes. Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including menu understanding, service standards, and basic inventory and cost awareness.
Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management, preferably in a busy bar/restaurant setting. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by restaurant operations. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and a hands-on approach to service.
Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
