Civil Engineer

Civil / Structural Engineer We are seeking a Civil / Structural Engineer to join a growing engineering team. Working alongside senior engineers, you will support the delivery of civil and structural engineering solutions across a range of complex infrastructure and energy projects. The role offers exposure to large-scale developments from early-stage design through to construction support .

Key Responsibiliti esDesign and specify civil and structural elements for infrastructure and energy projects, including BESS equipment foundations, substation civil works, steel support structures, access roads, earthworks, drainage systems, cable routes, site layout development, and associated civil asset s.Produce high-quality engineering deliverables including calculations, drawings, technical specifications, reports, and scope documentation in accordance with relevant standards and project requirement s.Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to develop safe, efficient, and constructible engineering solutions across civil, structural, electrical, and project delivery function s.Review engineering drawings, contractor submissions, and supplier documentation to ensure technical compliance, constructability, and quality assurance standards are me t.Support and mentor junior engineers and technicians, contributing to technical development and continuous improvement within the tea m.Assist project delivery teams to ensure engineering outputs are delivered on programme, within budget, and to required quality standard s. Candidate Requireme ntsDegree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering (BEng / MEng or equivalen t).Minimum 3 years post-graduate experience in a relevant engineering environme nt.Working towards or holding professional registration (IEng / CEng) with ICE or IStructE is desirab le.Strong understanding of European or international design standards and multidisciplinary design coordinati on.Ability to work effectively within integrated project teams across multiple disciplin es.Strong communication skills with confidence engaging with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholde rs.Solid technical capability with a practical, solution-focused approa ch.Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude toward delivery and improveme nt. Experience Requ iredDelivery of infrastructure or energy-related projects, including substations, BESS, industrial, or heavy civil environme nts.Design of structural steelwork, reinforced concrete foundations, pavements, earthworks, drainage, and site development wo rks.Production of engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and technical documentat ion.Experience supporting construction-phase activities, including quality assurance and document cont rol.Involvement in project delivery support alongside project manag ers.Exposure to client-facing responsibilities and stakeholder coordinat ion.Technical review and checking of engineering drawings and design packa ges.41bf1e1f-b16b-4260-a40a-17c77a06fd15
