Performance Test Engineer

Title: Performance Test Engineer Location: PAN India Exp: 5+ Yrs Job Description: Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, endurance, and scalability tests using Apache JMeter . Analyze application performance, identify bottlenecks, and provide optimization recommendations. Develop reusable performance test scripts for web applications, APIs, and microservices.

Monitor system resources (CPU, memory, network, database) during performance testing. Prepare performance test plans, test scenarios, workload models, and test reports. Collaborate with development, DevOps, database, and infrastructure teams to resolve performance issues.

Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines. Validate application performance against SLAs and business requirements. Support production performance analysis and capacity planning.

Required Skills 5+ years of relevant experience in Performance Testing. Strong hands-on experience with Apache JMeter ( Mandatory ). Experience in Load Testing, Stress Testing, Endurance Testing, and Spike Testing .

Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, Web Services, and Microservices . Experience in performance monitoring tools such as Dynatrace , AppDynamics , Grafana , Prometheus , or New Relic . Knowledge of SQL for database performance validation.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins , Azure DevOps , or GitHub Actions . Basic scripting knowledge using Java , Groovy , or JavaScript for JMeter scripting and customization. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and reporting skills.

Preferred Skills Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS , Azure , or GCP . Knowledge of containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes . Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

ISTQB or performance testing certifications are an added advantage.
