Graphic Designer / Integrated Designer – Japanese Typesetting Chennai -WFO Full-time - Permanent Experience: 5+ Years Job Description About the Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented Graphic Designer / Integrated Designer with expertise in Japanese Typesetting and Artwork Production to support global creative and localization projects. This role requires strong Adobe Creative Suite skills, an excellent understanding of Japanese-language layouts, and the ability to deliver production-ready artwork with accuracy and consistency. You will work closely with project managers, quality teams, language reviewers, and creative stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables across print and digital formats.

What You’ll Do: • Produce and adapt Japanese-language artwork using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop • Work on layout adaptation, typesetting, formatting, image placement, resizing, retouching, and final artwork preparation • Implement Japanese text corrections from client markups, language review files, PDFs, translation documents, and copy decks • Ensure correct Japanese font usage, spacing, punctuation handling, alignment, readability, and text flow • Resolve overset text, missing fonts, formatting inconsistencies, and layout issues • Create and update brochures, flyers, posters, product sheets, manuals, catalog pages, POS materials, digital banners, and social assets • Adapt English or global master layouts into Japanese versions while maintaining design integrity • Perform self-QC checks and prepare production-ready files for delivery • Collaborate with language reviewers and QC teams to resolve corrections efficiently • Manage multiple projects while maintaining speed, accuracy, and consistency Who You Are: • 5+ years of experience in Graphic Design, Artwork Production, Typesetting, or Creative Production with Japanese-language content • Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop • Ability to read, understand, and work accurately with Japanese text in design files • Experience in Japanese typesetting, layout formatting, text corrections, spacing, line breaks, font handling, and artwork adaptation • Good understanding of print and digital artwork production standards • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat and PDF markup workflows • Familiarity with multilingual artwork adaptation or localization workflows • Strong attention to detail and quality standards • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Flexible to support client delivery timelines and project priorities Preferred Qualifications: • JLPT N3/N2 certification or equivalent practical Japanese language experience • Experience working on Japanese market deliverables • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator • Experience in packaging artwork, publishing, prepress, retail collateral, manuals, or marketing production • Exposure to Workfront, Wrike, Ziflow, or similar workflow tools • Portfolio showcasing Japanese-language layouts, localization, or adaptation projects Why We Are Amnet: • Work with global brands across multiple markets • Gain exposure to international localization and creative production projects • Collaborate with diverse teams and language specialists • Be part of a quality-driven, fast-paced creative environment • Explore growth opportunities in design, localization, and creative production If you're passionate about design, typography, localization, and delivering high-quality Japanese-language artwork, we'd love to hear from you.
