Benefits Program Insurance plans (Dental, medical, life insurance, disability, and more) Competitive base salary Retirement savings plan Employee Assistance Program Tele Health Program Responsibilities Understand the functioning of the engine control system, the aircraft performance, and how these interface with the whole aircraft and various sub‑systems Support engine performance aspects such as bleed system integration and idle settings definition (including steep approach, go‑around performance) Support the Propulsion, Thermodynamics, Hydraulic, Electrical and Fuel System groups Estimate installed power plant performance (e.g., thrust, specific fuel consumption, rotational speeds, turbine temperatures) Plan engine performance flight testing, support flight test and flight test data reduction Create reports to document flight test data analysis and support aircraft certification Plan engine performance tasks and priorities for a development program Participate in the application and development of the Bombardier Engineering System (BES) Ensure engine performance processes are followed and continually improved Support new product development activities as part of an IPDT Support management with the hiring process by reviewing candidates and participating in selection interviews Collect lessons learned and ensure best practice/common approach across aircraft development programs Qualifications More than 8 years of relevant experience in the field of engine performance Experience conducting engine performance ground and flight tests for aircraft certification and supplier compliance Good working knowledge of Part25 regulatory requirements Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, in French and English Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Master’s degree would be an asset) Good knowledge of programming languages used by the industry such as FORTRAN, C++, Python, Matlab, Teamcenter and Microsoft Office Suite packages Eligibility to obtain a CGD Controlled Goods Clearance for work on missionized aircraft programs Bombardier is an equal‑opportunity employer and encourages persons of any race, religion, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, immigration status, disability or other legally protected characteristics to apply. #J-18808-Ljbffr
