Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanic / Body Shop Estimator to handle vehicle inspections, estimate writing, repair planning, and customer/insurance communication for both mechanical and collision repairs. This role is critical to cycle time, profitability, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Inspect vehicles and identify mechanical and collision damage Write accurate estimates using CCC, Mitchell, Audatex, or similar software Identify hidden damage and submit supplements Communicate with customers and insurance adjusters Coordinate repairs with technicians and parts department Ensure all work is authorized and properly documented Protect shop margins and reduce comebacks What We're Looking For 2+ years experience as an auto body estimator, mechanical estimator, or service advisor Strong understanding of collision and mechanical repair processes Experience working with insurance carriers Proficiency with estimating software (CCC One, Mitchell, Audatex, etc.) Strong communication and organizational skills Reliable attendance and professional attitude Valid driver's license Preferred (Not Required) I-CAR or ASE certifications Experience in combo mechanical & body shops Fleet or commercial repair experience Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience. -Starting $70,000-$80,000 a year with performace based incentives Stable full-time schedule Additional benefits available Growth opportunities Why Work With Us Clear expectations and SOPs Organized shop with strong leadership No chaos, no drama Long-term career opportunity
