Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Description Purpose & Scope: Performs those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures, administering radio-pharmaceuticals for the purpose of detecting pathology, evaluating function, or as a means of therapy. Education: An associate degree in radiological procedure is preferred. Experience: One year of experience in nuclear medicine is preferred.

Certification/Licensure: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (Nuclear) or NMTCB required. BLS certification required. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and administer radio-pharmaceuticals to patients.

Perform imaging procedures to detect and evaluate pathology. Ensure compliance with safety and radiation protection protocols. Assist in therapeutic applications involving radiopharmaceuticals.

Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
