Dining Room Manager

Jazz St-Gabriel Residence is pleased to welcome independent and semi-independent seniors. We are currently seeking a full-time Dining Room Manager. POSITION DESCRIPTION: Schedule: Monday to Friday, variable hours between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with one weekend out of two.

Salary: To be discussed ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborate with kitchen employees to ensure good teamwork Contribute and ensure the maintenance of the cleanliness of the dining room by taking on some household chores, in collaboration with the whole team Greet residents in the dining room and ensure their comfort Perform other related duties See to the preparation of cold dishes and desserts Take orders, note specific requests from residents and follow up in the kitchen Welcome customers and ensure the integration of new residents by offering them an adequate table EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: knowledge of a Maitre D's responsibilities (an asset) At lease 3 to 5 years of experience in restoration Good communication Good team player BENEFITS: Corporate discounts Salary to be discussed Vacation Social leave Floating days off Human management approach Consistent schedule Career Opportunity A welcoming and tight-knit team!
