Electrical Project Engineer

Job Description Job Description Best Electric is looking for a Project Engineer to join our growing team and support our LAUSD public works electrical construction projects . This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in electrical construction while working on school modernization and public infrastructure projects. Primary Responsibilities: Prepare and manage RFIs (Requests for Information) Prepare Change Order Proposals (COPs) Prepare and track submittals Assist with project estimating and bid preparation Review electrical plans, specifications, and contract documents Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, subcontractors, and owners Maintain project documentation and support successful project delivery Qualifications: Experience in electrical construction or construction management is preferred Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office (experience with Bluebeam, Procore, or estimating software is a plus) Eager to learn and grow in the public works construction industry At Best Electric , you'll have the opportunity to work on challenging LAUSD public works projects with an experienced team committed to quality, safety, and professional growth.
