Engineering Drafter

Job Description Job Description The Substation Drafter supports the design of substation engineering projects. Primary Responsibilities Create electrical drawings for facilities, such as lighting systems, power systems, communications, security, and fire detection in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) Develop entry-level drawings by using computer-aided design software under the direct supervision of other Electrical Technicians or Engineers Demonstrate knowledge of procedures for production of design developments and construction documents, and a thorough knowledge of engineering planning, drafting, and detailing Perform other duties as needed Required Qualifications Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite 3 years plus of professional experience with AutoCAD including electrical design An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must We offer a generous benefits package including company-paid medical insurance, paid holidays, 401k and paid time off (PTO) Upon a conditional job offer, a drug test and background check will be required.
