Ginny Thompson State Farm is seeking a highly motivated, licensed Acquisitions Specialist who thrives in a sales-driven environment and enjoys building relationships with new customers. This role is designed for a confident professional with prior insurance, industry-related, and/or proven sales experience who is energized by prospecting, engaging with potential clients, and turning conversations into closed business. Licensing Requirement Applicants must be licensed to be considered for this opportunity. Property & Casualty licensing is required prior to starting in the office. Life & Health licensing is strongly preferred and must be obtained within 45 days of starting if not already active.

Role Overview As an Acquisitions Specialist, your primary focus will be generating new business and expanding the agencys customer base. You will engage with prospective customers, uncover their insurance needs, and confidently recommend coverage solutions that protect what matters most. Key Responsibilities Generate new business through proactive outreach, referrals, and lead follow-up Engage prospective customers through calls, emails, and community networking Conduct needs-based conversations to identify appropriate insurance solutions Quote, present, and close auto, home, renters, and life insurance policies Maintain a strong pipeline of prospects and consistently follow up on opportunities Track activity and production toward monthly sales goals Collaborate with team members to support agency growth Maintain compliance with agency and regulatory procedures Qualifications Active Property & Casualty license required prior to starting Life & Health license preferred; required within 45 days of start if not already active Prior insurance, industry-related, and/or proven sales experience required Sales-driven mindset with a strong desire to meet and exceed goals Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with new prospects Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple opportunities Insurance or State Farm agency experience strongly preferred Ability to work full-time in office What We Offer Competitive base salary plus commission and performance incentives Ongoing sales training and professional development A supportive, growth-focused agency environment Strong opportunities for career advancement Ready to Build a Career in Insurance Sales?
