Lead Frontend Engineer

Job Title: Frontend Engineering Lead (JavaScript / SSR / eCommerce) Location: Pan India WFO Timings: 2PM -11PM Immediate Joiners Position: 1 Job Description Overview We are seeking an experienced Frontend Engineering Lead 10 YOE to drive the design, development, and delivery of modern customer-facing web applications. This role requires a hands-on technical leader who can architect scalable frontend solutions, lead engineering teams, engage directly with customers, review code, and guide technical decisions across the frontend ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in JavaScript, modern frontend frameworks, Server-Side Rendering (SSR), performance optimization, and frontend architecture patterns.

Experience building large-scale eCommerce or high-traffic digital platforms is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities Lead the design, architecture, and development of enterprise-grade frontend applications. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and stakeholders.

Participate in solution discussions, technical workshops, and architecture reviews with customers. Own end-to-end frontend delivery, including design, development, code quality, performance, and production readiness. Mentor and guide frontend engineers through code reviews, design reviews, and technical coaching.

Establish and enforce frontend engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines. Drive technical decision-making around framework selection, rendering strategies, state management, and performance optimization. Collaborate with backend, product, UX, and DevOps teams to deliver scalable solutions.

Evaluate business requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation plans. Identify technical risks, dependencies, and optimization opportunities during project planning. Required Technical Skills Core JavaScript Expertise Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and advanced concepts.

Deep knowledge of: Promises and asynchronous programming Event loop and execution context Closures Higher-order functions Pure functions and functional programming principles Immutability ES6 features Error handling and performance optimization Frontend Technologies Expert-level experience with modern JavaScript frameworks such as: React.js (preferred) Next.js Angular Vue.js Strong TypeScript experience. Experience with component-driven development and reusable UI architectures. Server-Side Rendering (SSR) Strong experience designing and implementing SSR applications.

Hands-on expertise with: Next.js SSR rendering lifecycle Hydration strategies SEO optimization Performance tuning Caching strategies CDN integration Architecture & Design Frontend architecture patterns. Design patterns and scalable application design. State management solutions.

Micro-frontend architectures. API integration strategies. Security best practices for frontend applications. eCommerce Experience Experience building or supporting large-scale eCommerce platforms.
