Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sr Interior Designer/Architect, Team Leader role based in South Delhi.
The Sr Interior Designer/Architect will lead end-to-end design development for interior and architectural projects, from concept to completion, including mood boards, material palettes, and detailed design presentations. Responsibilities include space planning, preparing construction drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, and guiding bespoke furniture and artifact design to align with project narratives. The role involves collaborating closely with clients, consultants, and contractors, managing project timelines, and ensuring design intent is maintained during execution on site.
The professional will conduct regular site visits, review shop drawings, resolve on-site design issues, and mentor junior team members to uphold the firm’s design standards and emphasis on heritage and sustainability. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Interior Design and Architecture, with experience leading high-quality residential, cultural, or corporate projects. Demonstrated skills in Space Planning, with the ability to optimize layouts for function, aesthetics, and user experience.
Hands-on experience creating and reviewing Construction Drawings, including detailed joinery, services coordination, and execution documentation. Expertise in FF&E selection and specification, including bespoke furniture, finishes, lighting, and artifacts aligned with design concepts. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field from a recognized institution.
Proficiency in relevant design and documentation software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent). Strong understanding of materials, sustainability principles, and local construction practices, with attention to detail and quality. Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills, with the ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary studio environment.
Experience mentoring junior designers and managing multiple projects or packages simultaneously. Familiarity with Indian heritage, local art and craft traditions, and an interest in integrating them meaningfully into contemporary design is highly beneficial.
