The Project Manager – Transformation Office is a strategic role within the Directorate at Granules India’s Corporate Office, responsible for driving and orchestrating enterprise‑wide transformation initiatives aligned to the company’s long‑term growth strategy. Operating as a senior individual contributor / SME, this role partners with CXOs, functional heads, and cross‑functional teams to define transformation roadmaps, govern complex programs end‑to‑end, track progress against key milestones, and ensure delivery of measurable business outcomes across the organization. This Role Reports to Transformation PMO Head.
The PM will drive strategic projects for the organizational growth around automation, process velocity improvement, productivity improvement, any other initiative impacting the top line or bottom line. The role serves as the central governance and orchestration nerve of the Transformation Office, ensuring alignment, accountability, and momentum across strategic programs, enabling operational excellence, digital maturity, and sustainable competitive advantage. Key Responsibilities Lead enterprise transformation programs across pharma value chain Own end-to-end lifecycle: roadmap, backlog, execution, governance, and value realization Define problem statements, business cases, and success metrics Establish governance frameworks and decision-making structures Drive KPI tracking, ROI measurement, and reporting dashboards Partner with CXOs and functional leaders for strategic alignment Enable AI, digital, and automation initiatives across functions Manage risks, dependencies, budgets, and resource planning Drive data-led decision making through analytics and reporting Lead change management and organizational adoption Collaborate with BPE & IDO teams for process and digital transformation Manage consultants, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders Drive PMO Centre of Excellence (governance, dashboards, playbooks) Qualifications Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering/Pharmacy + MBA preferred 3–6 years in program management, consulting, or transformation roles Experience delivering large-scale cross-functional programs Knowledge of PMP, Agile, Lean Six Sigma Ability to influence without authority Understanding of pharma value chain Core Skills Product thinking (roadmap, backlog, prioritization) Strategic and transformation mindset Program & portfolio management Stakeholder management and communication Governance, risk, and change management Data analytics and decision making Financial acumen (ROI, value realization) Good to Have Exposure to AI-led transformation, automation, Industry 4.0 Experience in ERP (SAP) Lean Six Sigma Global stakeholder exposure Preferred Functional exposure in either of these disciplines - MSAT (Manufacturing Science & Technology), NPL (New Product Launch), R&D Operations, Packaging, Regulatory Affairs is a plus.
