Role Objective : The account lead is responsible for building Vedant Fashion’s business in marketplaces both inside and outside India, directing a sales team, account management & relationship with marketplaces, working with merchandising team for product requirements and with Marketplaces listing & operations team for being successful in online world. Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: Sales Strategy, Planning & Revenue Management: Develop, plan and execute a well-defined e-Commerce Marketplace strategy for VFL brands. Develop and execute marketplace strategies to increase sales and profitability while maintaining high customer experience, price control and product availability.

Achieve sales targets and growth by leveraging account-based management – account plan, merchandise plan, listing strategies by platform basis marketplaces’ analytics. Optimize marketplace performance by working closely with the category teams at marketplaces, their marketing and sales teams, analyzing performance data, developing strategies, and implementing tactics to improve sales and revenue growth. Manage operations of the marketplace, pricing, promotions & marketing.

Coordinate with internal team for inventory management, logistics and product listing. Share best practices on marketplaces and improve our business performance. Fast Commerce, New Channels, Omnichannel: Understanding channel evolution towards Quick commerce, ONDC, online portals of LFR’s & pure play fashion/wedding portals and develop our strategy for participation.

Manage business from end-to-end perspective. Evolve the omnichannel business in-store with multiple options (from anywhere to anywhere). Evaluate and propose international business expansion with new partners, international marketplaces and local franchise partners.

Others: Communicate with cross-teams such as Merchandising for strategy, SMU opportunities and initiatives. Identify and track key KPIs, rollout reports, manage budget. Keep abreast with industry and market trends.

Strong experience growing a business on eCommerce platforms like Amazon, Myntra, Flipkart, Nykaa, Ajio, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart etc Is a detail-oriented, self-starter who doesn’t need a lot of supervision, and holds self and others accountable for deliverables. Is well-organized, able to manage multiple projects by prioritizing, communicating with key stakeholders Specifications Education Experience: MBA in Marketing or post-graduation in related field Role Requirements: 6 to 8 years of experience in ecommerce, marketplace and omnichannel business. Work experience with international or Indian brands with national & global scope in ecom, retail, apparel, fashion, lifestyle goods.
