Control Systems Engineer

Sheffield, UK (office-based with travel as required) The ITS Ltd Sheffield team are growing and we are seeking a forward-thinking and enthusiastic Control Systems Engineer to join us at an exciting time in our growth journey. We are looking for the right person to help expand our team that will deliver challenging, high-impact projects across a number of industries including energy, infrastructure, metals, petrochemicals, manufacturing and more, as part of a multi-disciplined team. What you’ll be doing: Designing and developing PLC, SCADA, and control system solutions, often for critical infrastructure projects Delivering safety-critical solutions, including Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) Taking projects from concept through to commissioning and handover Getting hands-on with FAT/SAT testing and on-site commissioning Working closely with clients, colleagues and stakeholders to exceed their expectations Solving real-world engineering challenges in high-stakes environments What we’re looking for: Experience in PLC programming and industrial control systems Knowledge of SCADA, automation, and system integration Exposure to critical infrastructure projects (energy, metals, Petrochem, etc.) A strong understanding of safety and compliance Familiarity with Siemens / Rockwell . platforms Passion for innovation and continuous improvement Opportunity to work on varied, technically challenging projects Be part of a close knit and collaborative team of engineers A chance to make a tangible difference and be part of our exciting future We have a very supportive leadership team who promote career progression Competitive salary and benefits package #J-18808-Ljbffr
