The Senior Product Manager will operate as a strategic leader for a more complex domain, driving product development and ensuring alignment with strategic goals for the coming year. This role requires a demonstrated ability to define product vision and strategy beyond a single component, provide mentorship, and challenge the status quo. You will be responsible for defining the platform's strategic roadmap and prioritizing the most impactful initiatives for our mission‑driven teams.

Responsibilities As a Senior PM in Growth Portfolio, you’ll be responsible for bringing new, alternative trading products to Canadians, including crypto, event contracts, futures, and other derivative products and related features and services. Your day‑to‑day duties include: Collaborate with countless cross‑functional teams to design internal processes that allow new products to fit seamlessly into the unified Questrade user experience. Conduct customer research and usability testing to deeply understand customer needs.

Work closely with engineers and designers to craft product specifications and roadmaps. Collaborate with our strategy & data teams to help make data‑informed product, promotion, pricing, and strategic investment decisions. Partner with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure customer‑focused solutions remain safe and compliant.

Communicate the product strategy & impact of your team’s work to the rest of the business. Coach & unblock the PMs on your teams, ensuring they have clear priorities and the resources needed to succeed. Balance short‑term wins with long‑term product vision.

Interface with senior leadership regarding product development progress, product decisions and tradeoffs, roadblocks, and product success metrics. Develop diagrams, written responses, and deliver product demos for Canadian regulators (CIRO, CSA) during the approval process for new products. Qualifications and Experience 7+ years of product management experience or similar (e.g., founder, designer, consultant, analyst).

Previous experience managing or coaching teams of PMs (Group PM, Staff PM, Director or similar). Demonstrated track record of shipping complex, needle‑moving products. Experience managing and developing other product managers.

Strong analytical skills and data‑driven decision making. Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities. Track record of delivering large, complex projects on time.

Ability to create clarity through thoughtful writing and documentation. Passion for financial technology and helping customers invest better. Previous experience in a CIRO‑regulated environment or with trading products; bonus points for experience interfacing directly with CIRO or CSA Staff.

Personal interest in investing, financial tools, or financial services. Benefits and Compensation Base salary range: $135,000 - $180,000. The final compensation package will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada).
