Overview Join our HR Technology team as a Senior ServiceNow Developer and play a key role in transforming the colleague experience across Barclays. In this role, you’ll design and deliver high impact ServiceNow HR Service Delivery solutions, working closely with HR and Technology stakeholders to shape architecture, drive agile delivery, and integrate with platforms such as Workday and the Microsoft ecosystem. Combining hands on development with technical leadership, you’ll help set standards, improve performance and security, and deliver innovative solutions at scale, making this an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about modern HR platforms and meaningful enterprise transformation.

Responsibilities Architect and implement the ServiceNow platform and HR Service Delivery solutions at enterprise scale. Design and deliver high‑impact ServiceNow solution components that integrate with Workday and Microsoft ecosystem. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements and architecture.

Drive agile delivery, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing. Implement secure coding practices, unit testing, and performance optimisation for reliable and maintainable solutions. Build and maintain trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, using influencing and negotiating skills to achieve outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills Experience architecting and implementing ServiceNow platform and HR Service Delivery solutions at enterprise scale. Experience with NowAssist for generative and agentic AI use cases. Working knowledge of supporting infrastructure such as Workday, Entra, Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365 (Teams, Copilot).

Experience designing conversational interfaces with Copilot. Experience with zero‑copy data architectures. Experience designing and implementing end‑to‑end use cases with Workday.

Strong business acumen, risk & controls understanding, change and transformation capability, and strategic thinking. Excellent communication, influencing, negotiation, and collaborative skills. Location Based in either the Glasgow or Northampton office. #J-18808-Ljbffr
